GaTP, Inc. (Government Automotive Training Providers) is the results of years of experience and frustration in the automotive industry. GaTP,Inc. was born of a desire to address repair technician’s requests and resulted in a vision to specialize in “custom” automotive training classes designed, written and taught to address your specific needs as well as keep it cost effective. We have successfully trained nationally for many municipals and military from Washington, D.C. to Alaska. We have developed custom classes on specific platforms per request on many occasions.

Our goal is to not only improve on the available training in the industry but bring new dimensions of understanding by providing the most comprehensive and “tech friendly” lesson on the subject to be addressed. We have formed “strategic partnerships” throughout the industry in order to provide you with the latest information. We combine classroom and “hands on” classes to create the most effective learning experience. The classes are tailored to your fleet and tool specifications. We provide light and heavy duty vehicle repair training as well as specific tool classes. Our excellent training staff is comprised of “seasoned” professionals, each of which have over 20 years “hands on experience” and numerous certifications. They are committed to keeping trained themselves on the newest techniques and procedures in order to share this valuable information with you during the course of our classes.

The real benefits of our training will become immediately apparent as you experience the effects on your costs in terms of time and cost “management”. The investment you make in training really shows in your “bottom line”!!! The knowledge we will convey in each class will help you to diagnose the specific faults more quickly and alleviate most of your vehicle “down time”. You will also find our training option very convenient as we will conduct classes “on site” during work hours of your choice to avoid the “overtime issue”, or evening hours, and will, in special circumstances, be able to accommodate you with a weekend schedule. We will tailor the classes to accommodate you technicians “various levels of expertise”. Conducting the classes in a shop facility rather than a hotel or other venue affords the techs the opportunity to not only learn the theory but also experience the application with “hands on” exercises. We do limit the attendance to 25 (no more than 30) techs per class due to the "hands on" aspect to afford all techs the opportunity to participate. We offer 2 free seats to the host site for their hospitality.

The class attendees will each be provided with a disc, and any other class materials necessary, which is adaptable to print on the subject being presented as well as certification opportunity in selected courses. Each disc contains a wealth of information to be further studied and referrenced and hundreds of specific system illustrations. Putting all the information on disc makes it possible for us to constantly update the information for you with current TSB and system changes. Printed manuals are usually out of date information as soon as they are published as system corrections, changes and TSBs are constantly updating. They will also receive a certificate upon completion. These classes also help satisfy the NATEF requirements. These classes are designed for techs who need real knowledge of everyday repair, issues, and tips to effect time sensitive maintenance.

We have been the leader in the industry coming out with the NEW Green Diesel training last year to assist in meeting the new federal mandates effective January 2007.

We have included a brief description of each class in our catalog and a list of some of the heavy duty subjects we are presently developing including the New Advanced Hydraulics class. We are also capable of ASE test preparation instruction. as well we offer MACS certification opportunity with the new Air Conditioning class.
