Kenneth
Humphreys |
|
Msgt. (Ret), USAF
Kenneth Humphreys joined the United States Air
Force at the age of 17 in 1959. He has held five
major field positions in Supply, Scheduling, Armed
Forces Radio and Television, Aircraft Maintenance,
Training NCOIC for Field Maintenance at Dover
AFB (C5), and then Command & Control with
Nuclear Clearance. On the civilian side and at
the same time, while in service he worked off
base as an Automotive Technician and Commercial
Radio. He studies Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
through Grantham College and after retiring at
Patrick AFB in Florida he opened an automotive
repair shop, started a transportation company
with three tractor trailer units as well as teaching
automotive repair at Brevard Community College.
After his children went off to college he moved
to Nashville Tennessee to take on the position
of Regional Training Manager for Sun Electric.
Sun was taken over by Snap-On Tools who at that
time laid off most of its personnel. He then moved
back to Florida where he is now the proud owner
of Autogroup 1 Diagnostics and a Certified Trainer
with GaTP Inc. Kenneth is an ASE Master Automotive
Technician and a member of numerous organizations
such as SAE and Brevard Community College Technical
Advisory Committee.
